Susan Holmes is a rather splendid model from the classic era of supermodels who is not really famous at all, probably because she is often mistaken for Cindy Crawford.
Born in 1972, and a rather strapping 5'11", she was discovered at the age of 16 whilst eating in a Manhattan restaurant. She was soon signed up by both Ford and Elite and had her first cover at the age of 17.
Since 1997 she has had her own line of swimwear which is popular with the likes of Elle MacPherson, Kate Hudson and Heidi Klum.
She is really rather gorgeous and deserves to be better known.
